Penn State President Rodney Erickson will hold three town hall meetings with alumni next week to discuss the university's response to the Jerry Sandusky scandal.
Sponsored by the Penn State Alumni Association, Erickson will speak Wednesday in Pittsburgh, Thursday at the Radisson Hotel Valley Forge in King of Prussia, and Jan. 13 in New York City.
"Alumni have justifiable concerns and questions about the crisis that Penn State is facing," said Roger L. Williams, executive director of the Penn State Alumni Association. "While we have heard from and responded to thousands of alumni emails and phone calls, we thought alumni would welcome the opportunity to have their questions answered face-to-face by our new president."

The Radisson Hotel Valley Forge is at 1160 First Ave., King of Prussia.
Erickson has previously addressed students at an on-campus town hall meeting in November. He pledged transparency when he took office after former president Graham Spanier's exit amid the scandal, promising to involve all parties in charting a path forward.
Authorities say Sandusky, who stands charged with 52 counts of child abuse, molested 10 children over 15 years, sometimes in campus facilities. He maintains his innocence.
